Chalk-Bomb Art
Direct from Parents Magazine, a new idea for kids to play during the summer. From the author of Chalk on the Wild Side, Lorie Kaehler came up with the idea of this chalk-bomb. Here’s how to do it:
Use a clean soap-dispenser pump to fill water balloons with a washable chalk-paint mixture – mix 1 cup of water, 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, and a few drops of food coloring. Don’t worry, this will wash off the sidewalk or driveway – Have your child draw targets on the ground with chalk or just let them get creative and go wild to create their own chalk art.
